Every driver who takes a passenger to Keflavík Airport drives back with an empty car. He offers that empty drive in our app at a low price, and you book it. The car is yours alone.
You book in the app, on the Shuttle tab. There is no form on this page on purpose: the list changes through the day as drivers add trips and as trips get taken.
Install the free Flott Iceland app and tap Shuttle. Every trip our drivers have offered is listed there.
Pick your direction, then a trip from the list. Each one shows you the driver, the car, the hours he can drive and the price for the whole car.
Pick the exact pickup time you want within the driver’s hours, and give your address in the city. You can book until ten minutes before that time.
Nothing is charged when you book. Watch the car approach on the map, message the driver if you need to, and pay him when you get there.
Once you have booked, the driver cannot cancel on you. The car is yours, exactly like any other Flott Taxi booking.
A price this low makes people suspicious, and that is fair enough. So every trip in the list shows you the driver and the car up front, and you decide for yourself.
The driver’s name, not just “a taxi”. You see who is coming before you agree to anything.
Five stars from four trips is not five stars from four hundred. You get both numbers, so you can tell the difference.
Shown on every trip, so after a long flight you know whether you can have a conversation.
Make, model, year, colour and number plate. You know what will pull up, and you can check that it did.
The limit for that particular car. It tells you how much you can bring — it is not a count of seats for sale.
For example 09:00 to 12:00. That is when the driver is free, and you choose your pickup time inside it. It is not a departure time.
A driver takes a passenger from Reykjavík to Keflavík Airport. Then he drives home with nobody in the car — the same road, the same fuel, an hour of his day, and no one paying for it. That drive happens whether you book it or not.
So this is not a cheaper, cut-down version of anything, and it is not a discount. It is the same licensed driver in the same car, on a drive he was making anyway. The one thing you give up is certainty: a trip is in the app only when a driver actually has one going.
The comparison worth making is not with another taxi. It is with the airport coach, where you pay for each person separately — and the price beside it is what one adult seat costs, including being dropped at your hotel.
Keflavík ↔ Reykjavík
The coach fare is the operator’s own published price when we last checked it, in August 2026. Our figure is a minimum: drivers set their own prices above it, so a particular trip can cost more. Please check both yourself rather than take our word for it.
The airport road is where our drivers end up with an empty car, so this is the whole list. We would rather show you a short honest one than a long useless one.
Flying in a few weeks? There may be nothing on your date yet, because trips only appear when drivers add them. Instead of checking back every day, turn on Shuttle alerts in the app and it will tell you when one matches your date. If this is a flight you would rather not leave to luck, book a guaranteed Keflavík Airport transfer instead — that one comes at the time you choose, whether or not a driver happens to be going that way.
It is a tab in the Flott Taxi app that lists airport trips our drivers are making anyway. A driver who takes a passenger one way has an empty car on the way back, so he offers that empty drive cheaply instead of driving it for nothing. What you book is the whole car.
The driver sets it himself, and we set a minimum he is not allowed to go below. The price you see is the whole price for the whole car, VAT included. It does not change afterwards — not for traffic, not for weather, not for the time of night.
No. You book the whole car and it is only yours. Nobody else is picked up, and there are no extra stops along the way. The number of passengers shown is how many people that car holds — not seats being sold off one by one.
A normal transfer goes at the time you choose, because we send a driver out for it. A Shuttle trip is only there when a driver happens to be making it anyway. You get a much lower price and give up the guarantee — that is the whole trade, and we would rather say it plainly.
Then there is nothing to book, and we will not pretend otherwise. Turn on Shuttle alerts and the app will tell you as soon as a matching trip appears. If this is a flight you cannot risk, book an ordinary airport transfer instead.
In the car, to the driver. Nothing is charged when you book, so there is no deposit sitting with us and nothing to claim back if your plans change.
Reykjavík to Keflavík Airport, and Keflavík Airport to Reykjavík. Nothing else, because the airport road is where our drivers actually end up with an empty car.
The app is free, Shuttle is one tap away, and looking costs you nothing.
You book on the Shuttle tab and pay the driver in the car.
