Every tour on this page is private: your group gets its own vehicle and its own driver-guide, so you decide when to leave, how long to stay at each stop and where to add a photo break. We pick you up at your hotel, apartment, cruise terminal or straight from Keflavík Airport anywhere in the capital region, and the price you see covers the whole car, not a seat. Routes run all year: the Golden Circle and the South Coast in summer daylight, northern lights and ice caves in winter. The price on each tour card is for the whole vehicle, not per person, and it depends on the route length and the size of the car. A Golden Circle day for one to four people starts around €640; the same route in an eight-seat minivan is higher. Fuel, parking and the driver are included; entrance fees to places like the Blue Lagoon or a lava tunnel are not.
Your driver is a local who will tell you about the places along the way in English and answer questions, but these are private driver-guided tours, not tours with a separate certified guide. If you need a licensed specialist guide for the whole day, tell us in advance and we will arrange one for an extra fee.
Any hotel, guesthouse or apartment in Reykjavík, Kópavogur, Hafnarfjörður, Garðabær, Mosfellsbær and Seltjarnarnes, plus the Skarfabakki and Miðbakki cruise terminals and Keflavík Airport. Pickup outside the capital region is possible: send us the address and we will quote it.
Yes. The Golden Circle, the South Coast and Reykjanes run all year on studded winter tyres. In December and January you have about four to five hours of daylight, so we start at sunrise and shorten the route rather than rush it. If a road closes or a storm warning comes in, we move the tour to another day at no cost.
Up to four passengers with normal luggage in a sedan or SUV, and up to eight in a minivan. Larger groups are covered by running several vehicles together, see our page for groups.
Yes, infant, toddler and booster seats are available at no extra charge. Tell us the number and ages of the children when you book so the right seats are fitted before pickup.
Cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before pickup. There is no deposit and nothing is charged when you book, so cancelling costs you nothing. If we cancel because of weather or road closures, you pay nothing at all.
You pay at the end of the tour, by card or in cash, in ISK or EUR. Companies and hotels can be invoiced instead. Ask us and we will set it up.
